LSU football just completed what is the top 2026 defensive line recruiting class in college football, signing four-star defensive tackle Deuce Geralds, five-star defensive tackles Richard Anderson and Lamar Brown, and the icing on the cake, four-star edge rusher Trenton Henderson.
Henderson, who stands 6-4 and weighs 225 pounds, is rated as the eighth-best edge rusher in the country by 247Sports. He committed to LSU in July, with the Tigers prevailing over his other top choices, Florida and Texas.
Henderson is an interesting body type for the Tigers, whose starting edge rushers this season were both comfortably over 250 pounds. Though Henderson may be leaner, his closing speed and bend are qualities that LSU could use at the position.

If he hasnāt added bulk since his measurements were last taken, itās unlikely heāll see much playing time during his freshman season, but according to his 247Sports scouting report, his tools should get him on the field eventually.
āWins with speed and fluidity as he can come screaming around the corner after shooting out of a two-point stance⦠Asked to occasionally drop into space throughout prep career and has showcased the ability to hawk down ball carriers outside the hashes with his lateral quickness.ā
