In the midst of his first season at the helm of LSU football, head coach Lane Kiffin continues to prioritize the program's future. He and his staff locked in two campus visits with the top wide receiver in the 2027 recruiting class.
Easton Royal will visit LSU for its games against Alabama and Texas, according to a report from Rivals' Steve Wiltfong. The five-star pass catcher committed to the Longhorns in November of last year but continued entertaining other schools throughout the spring and summer.
Royal hails from New Orleans and attends Brother Martin High School. Rivals' Industry Rankings lists him as the state's top player and the No. 5 overall prospect in the 2027 cycle. He was one of the first recruits Kiffin visited upon taking the job in Baton Rouge.
