The LSU Tigers are used to playing at night, and it looks like that won't change to begin this year, as they got great news with ESPN's release of start times for the first three weeks of the season.

The Tigers had actually already known the start times to both games against the Clemson Tigers and the Ole Miss Rebels, but Tuesday rounded out the first three weeks of the season.

Here are the announced start times and networks for the start of the season for LSU:

Week 1: vs Clemson Tigers, 6:30 pm CT, ABC

It's interesting to see this game get the primetime ABC slot for the opening weekend, given that both teams struggled last year and not much is expected out of Clemson this season, either. There also aren't very many clear options, and LSU has been the story of the offseason, so it's not too shocking.

This is a "rematch" between the two school from last season, when the purple and gold Tigers won on the road. So much has changed, though, that it'll barely feel like it. The change for LSU is obvious. While Clemson still has Dabo Swinney, there's a lot of turnover on their roster, including at quarterback.

Week 2: vs Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, 6:30 pm CT, SEC Network+

Having this game in between the season opener and the next game, against Ole Miss, is very important. It'll be a chance for the Tigers to adapt and change some things around after getting the first true look at this roster the week before against Clemson.

Week 3: at Ole Miss Rebels, 6:30 pm CT, ABC

This is the game that everyone is waiting to see. There is not a more anticipated matchup on the national schedule this year in all of football. The return of Kiffin to Oxford. There will be no love lost between that community and their former coach, at least not yet.

The recent Vanity Fair that seems to be following him will only make things more contentious. He was booed at the airport when leaving and will certainly be booed again when he arrives.

This is always a fun rivalry matchup, but there just happens to be extra stakes this season. The Rebels will obviously see some change on the offensive side of the ball, but Trinidad Chambliss remains and Pete Golding should help keep the defense afloat. It certainly won't be a cupcake for the Tigers.
