Alabama football will be without a key piece of its defensive line in the SEC championship game against Georgia.
Alabama defensive lineman LT Overton was listed as out in the first SEC availability report ahead of the Georgia game Saturday, Dec. 6.
Overton is one of seven players out for the Crimson Tide. Running back Jam Miller, offensive lineman Kam Dewberry and tight ends Danny Lewis Jr. and Josh Cuevas are questionable.
One day after Alabama’s Iron Bowl win against Auburn, Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer said he does not expect Cuevas to be available for the game.
DeBoer did not have more information on Miller’s status after he left the Iron Bowl early with a lower leg injury.
Alabama kicks off against Georgia in the SEC championship at 3 p.m. CT Saturday, Dec. 6 on ABC.
