The regular season just came to an end for the Oregon Ducks, and while many fans are focused on a first-round College Football Playoff game at Autzen Stadium in a couple of weeks, the staff in Eugene is focused on National Signing Day, which begins on Wednesday of this week.

Signing Day has been good to Duck fans over the past few years since Dan Lanning came to town, with memories of fireworks and flips sitting fresh on the minds of many. Oregon has had three-straight classes ranked inside the top 10 nationally, the past two of which have been ranked inside the top five, each setting program records for the best in program history.

So what can we expect from Lanning and his staff this year? Well, early signas are positive, with the Ducks already having the No. 5 class in the nation, with five 5-star players committed, the most of any team in the nation.

But it could get better, too.

There are a handful of players out there whom the Ducks have still been recruiting, despite them being committed elsewhere. In years past, we've seen Lanning pull off a few massive flips on Signing Day — notably guys like Jeremiah McClellan and Na'eem Offord. Do we see it again this year?

If it does, these are the names to know:

5-star WR Chris Henry Jr.

247Sports Composite Rating: 5-star (0.9936) — No. 10 player

Current Commitment: Ohio State

Analysis: If there's going to be fireworks from Oregon on Wednesday, it's most likely to come from Chris Henry Jr. The Mater Dei prospect has been committed to the Buckeyes for a long time, but the Ducks have stayed after him, and there is currently a lot of buzz surrounding his potential flip. This would be a classic Dan Lanning move to pull on NSD.

4-star WR Kayden Dixon-Wyatt

247Sports Rating: 4-star (96) — No. 47 player

Current Commitment: Ohio State

Analysis: Another Mater Dei prospect, Dixon-Wyatt was a heavy lean to Oregon earlier in his recruitment, but ended up following his high school teammate, Henry Jr., to Ohio State. If the Ducks could land either Mater Dei player, it's a massive win. If they can flip both, then Lanning will be dropping the microphone.

5-star OT Kodi Greene

247Sports Composite Rating: 5-star (0.9886) — No. 18 player

Current Commitment: Washington Huskies

Analysis: Greene, another Mater Dei player, was committed to Oregon earlier this year, but flipped to Washington after several months. Might the Ducks be able to flip him back? It may be a long shot, but anything is possible with Lanning on Signing Day.

4-star DL Deuce Geralds

247Sports Composite Rating: 4-star (0.9755) — No. 54 player

Current Commitment: LSU

Analysis: Geralds strongly considered the Ducks earlier this year, but ended up siding with LSU instead. There has been a coaching change down in Baton Rouge, though, and with Lane Kiffin now in town, does that change anything for the high-end 4-star? It's a question worth asking.

4-star DL Tomuhini Topui

247Sports Rating: 4-star (95) — No. 86 player

Current Commitment: USC Trojans

Analysis: Yet another Mater Dei player, Topui was committed to Oregon earlier this year, but flipped to the USC Trojans down the stretch. Once again, it wouldn't be surprising to hear that the Ducks at least reached out to see how solid his commitment was with the Trojans.

4-star LB Talanoa Ili

247Sports Rating: 4-star (96) — No. 62 player

Current Commitment: USC Trojans

Analysis: Ili took several visits to Oregon before ultimately committing to USC, but he is a Hawaii prospect that the Ducks have been on for a while, and might try to sway as we get to the finish line.
