'Massive' Punishment Coming After Huge College Football Fight Saturday

Big punishment is coming after a "massive" college football fight during Saturday's games.

Bethune Cookman and Grambling State played in a rivalry game on Saturday. Grambling State won the rivalry game, 31-23. Grambling quarterback Hayden Benoit had a big game, throwing for 220 yards and four touchdowns. Bethune Cookman, meanwhile, was led by quarterback Timmy McLain, who totaled 224 yards and one touchdown in the loss.

But it was what happened following the game that had fans upset. A huge fight broke out on the field, leading to a serious skirmish between players on both teams. It got extremely ugly.

"Bethune Cookman and Grambling State football teams got into a physical altercation during the Wildcats’ loss to the Tigers," Kalan Hooks wrote.

Major punishment is coming for these two teams

Major fines and suspensions are likely coming for these two teams, as punches were thrown and a serious fight broke out.

"Just friendly sportsmanship nothin to see here 🫩," one fan joked.

"To Bethune Cookman and Grambling State football players. Young men, please clearly realize how this will be received in the coming weeks. Be ready, willing and able to address the questions accordingly," one fan added.

"This happens pretty much every time they play. At least since Doug Williams left Grambling," one fan added.

"Throwing haymakers at a guy wearing a football helmet is a choice lol I think you might injure your hand more than anything," another fan added.

"Suspensions are coming, for sure," one added.

The conference has yet to announce an official punishment for this one, but it's surely coming soon – in a big way.
