Not many people inside Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Fla., may have expected to hear an Australian accent. However, that notion of thinking should come to a rapid stop, as the Florida State Seminoles' own punter hails from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
If fans don't hear Daniel Hughes, they'll certainly see him. The 6-foot-5 dons a bleached-blonde mullet and is covered top to bottom in tattoos. While he plays collegiately now, he used to run onto the field for the Victorian Football League side Northern Bullants, per his Florida State athletics page.
Here's the rundown on the 28-year-old Aussie whose hair and ink have heads turning all around the gridiron scene.

Who is Daniel Hughes?
While Hughes is far from one of the biggest names in college football, he has captured the attention of fans both inside and outside his team's fan section. Florida State fans may have noticed the inked-up, bleached-mullet-sporting punter of theirs: that's Hughes. The Melbourne, Australia native is playing his third season of college football at a third different school.
Along with playing football, he actively posts vlogs on his YouTube channel, @DanielhughesCF. His most popular video was posted last week and was a vlog about Florida State's game against New Mexico State. The Seminoles won that home opener 34-17.
Here is Hughes' vlog from last week that included bits of his life outside the field, hanging out with friends, and some highlights from the game. He didn't have that thorough a workload on Aug. 29, but his punts both spanned over 40 yards (41 and 53 yards).
