Michael B. Jordan joins 2026 CultureCon lineup alongside Aaron Pierre, Wale and Tobe Nwigwe

The actor joins a growing lineup of entertainers, entrepreneurs and creators gathering in Brooklyn this fall.
Michael B. Jordan is joining the 2026 CultureCon lineup, adding another major name to the annual gathering of Black and multicultural creatives in Brooklyn.
Jordan is set to appear as a speaker during CultureCon NYC 2026, which takes place Oct. 3 and 4 in Brooklyn. Aaron Pierre, Wale and Tobe Nwigwe have also been added to the lineup, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
The new additions join previously announced guests including Daniel Kaluuya, Miles Caton, Olandria Carthen, Sherri Shepherd, Danessa Myricks, Rajah Caruth and Scott Evans.
Jordan arrives at CultureCon months after winning the Academy Award for Best Actor for “Sinners,” marking the first Oscar victory of his career. His addition gives the festival another major Hollywood name as organizers continue expanding a lineup that spans entertainment, sports, business and digital culture.
This year’s CultureCon theme, “Museum of Us,” centers on celebrating people shaping culture in real time. The festival is also expanding programming designed to help creatives build careers and businesses, including a Creative Business Stage, Career Lounge, Braindate networking experience and Small Business Market. The market will spotlight Black-owned brands, while the Career Lounge will connect attendees with recruiters from companies including HBO Max and Nike.
Before the main festival, CultureCon Week events will run from Sept. 28 through Oct. 1. A separate CultureCon Kickoff Party is scheduled for Oct. 2, followed by Festival Day 1 on Oct. 3 and Festival Day 2 on Oct. 4.
The addition of Michael B. Jordan to CultureCon further strengthens a roster built around established stars and emerging creatives, while this year’s programming puts added emphasis on networking, professional development, and access to business opportunities.
