The recruits keep rolling in for Michigan football and new coach Kyle Whittingham.
The Wolverines landed a commitment from three-star athlete/running back Lundon Hampton on Thursday, May 21, according to On3's Hayes Fawcett.
Hampton played for Kenowa Hills High School in the Grand Rapids area and is part of the 2027 recruiting class. He began his career at Jackson Lumen Christi.
He chose Michigan over Iowa, Michigan State, and Penn State, according to On3.
Hampton is the 13th commitment in Michigan football's 2027 class and the fourth from Michigan, joining Jakari Lipsey (Kalamazoo Loy Norrix), Recarder Kitchen (Muskegon) and Louis Esposito (Saline), the son of Michigan defensive line coach Lou Esposito.
Michigan's 2027 class ranks 14th in the nation, per 247 Sports' composite rankings.
