If you've been a Michigan football fan for some time and want to feel old, well, you might feel older yet.

The Wolverines have already added a prominent legacy player to the 2027 class, as three-star safety Charles Woodson Jr., son of legendary Michigan football cornerback Charles Woodson, pledged to his father's school in May. Now, one of Woodson's backfield teammates appears to be on deck.

In the 2028 class, Columbus (Ohio) Pickerington North (though he's soon to transfer to Saline, Mich.) three-star athlete Marquis Ray, son of former Michigan defensive back Marcus Ray, announced that he received an offer from the maize and blue.

Though that's not the one that will likely make many feel quite so old, as that national championship won by Woodson and Ray was 29 years ago now, this one might.

Part of the 2029 class is Mario Manningham Jr., an as-yet-unrated wide receiver out of Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban. And yes, he's the son of famed Michigan wide receiver Mario Manningham, who played for the Wolverines from 2004-07 under Lloyd Carr.

He also reported an offer on Tuesday.

Ray is rated by Rivals as the No. 29 athlete in the 2028 class. As noted, Manningham hasn't yet received a ranking.
