Michigan football vs Northwestern odds for Week 12 game

Michigan football is expected to win a fourth game in a row, according to the oddsmakers.
The Wolverines come off their second bye week of the season as 10-point favorites when they meet Northwestern at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Saturday, Nov. 15 (Fox, noon), according to BetMGM.
Michigan (7-2, 5-1 Big Ten) has been favored in seven games so far in the 2025 season and has won all seven, while losing on both underdog games (at Oklahoma and at USC).
Michigan has struggled to cover the number, however, going 3-6 against the spread.
Michigan is 2-2 against the spread on the road while Northwestern is 4-1 vs. the spread at home (5-3-1 overall).
Northwestern played at USC on Friday, Nov. 7 and had a similar result to U-M (which lost 31-13 in Los Angeles) falling 38-17 (5-4, 3-3 Big Ten) in its second consecutive defeat, but is playing to clinch a bowl berth after missing bowl season in 2024.
Michigan was fighting for a bowl at 5-5 when the two teams met last season, and Michigan throttled Northwestern 50-6 in the home finale in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines rode that momentum into Columbus, where they pulled off a stunning upset of eventual national champion Ohio State, winning 13-10.
Northwestern played two games at Wrigley Field last season – the Wildcats are in the process of renovating Ryan Field which is expected to be ready for the 2026 opener – falling to both Ohio State and Illinois.
