Michigan State football has extended an offer to a junior college edge rusher that's picking up interest on the recruiting trail.
Darius Wiley of Hutchinson C.C. in Hutchinson, Kansas announced on Sunday that he's picked up an offer from the Spartans. Wiley is an edge rusher in the 2026 class, and announced his offer via a social media post on X.
Wiley is listed as a three-star prospect on 247Sports. He holds a recruiting rating of 86 and is ranked as the No. 4 edge rusher among junior college prospects, according to 247Sports. He is also ranked as the No. 24 overall junior college prospect in the class.
Michigan State is one of more than 20 schools to extend an offer to Wiley, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Arkansas, Arkansas State, Boise State, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville State, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, Old Dominion, Sam Houston, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Texas State, Toledo and West Virginia.
Wiley visited Michigan State during the Spartans bye this week so this offer comes after that visit. It'll be interesting to see if a commit is soon to follow for Wiley.
