Michigan State football will be playing for the Land-Grant Trophy on Saturday afternoon against Penn State on CBS inside of Spartan Stadium. In the rivalry game against the Nittany Lions, the Spartans are going to be without a ton of starters, including the known quarterback of the Jonathan Smith tenure.

After Alessio Milivojevic made his first career start a week ago, taking over for Aidan Chiles, he is in line to play for MSU once again on Saturday. The resulting consequence, Chiles will not be playing and is listed as 'out' on the availability report, despite there being no injury known, but he is in a walking boot around the sidelines.

Aside from Chiles, the Spartans have listed 12 other players on the report, most notably having Nikai Martinez and Chance Rucker on the report. Six other Spartans are listed as out for the season.

With Chiles out, Ryland Jessee or Leo Hannan will serve as Milivojevic's backup.
