Michigan State football set to host All-CUSA linebacker for visit

The transfer portal is now officially open, and you can expect that Michigan State football is going to be one of the more active teams in the portal this year, with their new NIL funding and incoming coach Pat Fitzgerald looking to turn things around quickly. The Spartans are already making some noise with their official visits, and one player they have set to bring in, according to Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports, is Louisiana Tech All-Conference linebacker Mekhi Mason.

Mason was an absolute force for Louisiana Tech this year, recording 68 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks for the Bulldogs on his way to second-team All-Conference USA honors. Mason started his career as a 3-star linebacker at Syracuse before transferring to Louisiana Tech.
