Middletown's Jordan Vann flips commitment after Michigan State fires coach

The college football coaching carousel continues to have an effect on Cincinnati commits.
One day after Michigan State announced that it fired head coach Jonathan Smith, who had a 9-15 record in two years, Middletown three-star defensive back Jordan Vann announced that he flipped his commitment from the Spartans to the University of Louisville.

Vann committed to Michigan State on June 15 and received an offer from Louisville on Nov. 16. He had a total of 21 offers.
This season, Vann made 57 tackles, grabbed three interceptions and forced a fumble as the Middies advanced to the state semifinals for the first time.
