Mississippi State football flips OL Leon Noil Jr. from Nebraska in 2026 recruiting class

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football flipped a prospect from Nebraska two weeks before National Signing Day.
Leon Noil Jr., a three-star interior offensive lineman, committed to the Bulldogs on Nov. 19. He had been committed to Nebraska since June and becomes the No. 7 prospect in MSU’s 2026 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Noil also holds offers from Ole Miss, Missouri, Houston, Baylor, UCF and more. He plays for Edna Karr in New Orleans.
The signing period starts Dec. 3.
Mississippi State (5-6, 1-6 SEC) has an open week before hosting No. 6 Ole Miss (10-1, 6-1) in the Egg Bowl at Davis Wade Stadium on Nov. 28 (11 a.m., ABC).
Leon Noil Jr. 247 ranking
Noil, measured at 6-foot-4, 255 pounds, is a three-star, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s ranked No. 926 nationally, the No. 73 interior offensive linemen and No. 29 in Louisiana.
He’s the No. 2 offensive linemen in Mississippi State’s class behind Vancleave three-star offensive tackle Dalton Toothman.

The Bulldogs’ 2026 recruiting class is ranked No. 45 nationally by the 247Sports Composite. That is No. 14 in the SEC ahead of Kentucky and Arkansas.
