Mississippi State football recruiting 2027 commit tracker for Jeff Lebby

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football is looking to sign another best recruiting class under coach Jeff Lebby for 2027.

The Bulldogs signed 30 players in the 2026 recruiting class, ranking No. 23 nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite. They won three more games in 2025 and capitalized by flipping and signing two four-stars, Bralan Womack and Micah Nickerson, shortly before the December signing day.

MSU has already gotten commitments to the 2027 recruiting class, but it is expected to grow a lot in the spring and summer as recruits complete visits.

The Clarion Ledger is tracking all of Mississippi State’s commitments for the 2027 recruiting class.

Hudson Fuqua

• Position: Safety
• School: Riverdale in Murfreesboro, Tennessee
• Rank: Three-star (No. 705 nationally, No. 69 safety, No. 28 in Tennessee)
• Stats: 4 carries, 3 rushing yards; 73 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, 9 passes defended, 1 forced fumble
• Commit date: Nov. 6, 2025

Caleb Unger

• Position: Interior offensive lineman
• School: Madison-Ridgeland Academy in Madison, Mississippi
• Rank: Three-star (No. 705 nationally, No. 41 interior offensive lineman, No. 20 in Mississippi)
• Commit date: Jan. 21, 2026
