MSU football extends offer to in-state DL with plenty of buzz on recruiting trail

Michigan State football has entered the mix for an in-state defensive lineman prospect with a ton of power four interest.

Drew Aagesen of Goodrich, Mich. announced this week that he's received an offer from Michigan State. Aagesen made the offer from the Spartans known by posting on his personal social media X account.

Aagesen is listed at 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, and is marked as a three-star defensive lineman in the 2027 class, according to Rivals. He ranks as the No. 136 defensive lineman and No. 24 player from Michigan in the class.

Michigan State joins a long list of power four schools that have shown interest in Aagesen. According to 247Sports, he holds offers from more than 10 schools, including the likes of Wisconsin, Iowa State, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Miami (OH), Western Michigan and Toledo. He has also received interest from Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota and Georgia Tech.
