Michigan State football is the latest program to extend a scholarhsip to a North Carolina defensive lineman with nearly 20 Division I offers.
Amir Moore of Harrells, N.C. announced on Tuesday that he's received an offer from the Spartans. Moore took to social media platform X to reveal he'd been offered by Michigan State.
Moore is listed as a three-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 86 in 247Sports' system. He ranks as the No. 114 defensive lineman and No. 34 player from North Carolina in 247Sports' composite system.
Moore holds scholarship offers from numerous big-time schools, with multiple power four offers. According to 247Sports, he has been offered by Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, NC State, Kentucky, Nebraska, Ole Miss, South Carolina and a host of group of six schools.
According to 247Sports, Moore is scheduled to take official visits to Florida, North Carolina and NC State over the next few months. Hopefully, Michigan State will be able to get their way into that mix and have him visit East Lansing, Mich. this summer.
