A high-end three-star defensive lineman from SEC country has reportedly locked in an official visit to Michigan State for late May.
According to Jason Killop of On3, Marcellus Young Casario of Rabun Gap, Ga. will take an official visit to Michigan State in late May. He will reportedly take his official visit to Michigan State from May 29 to 31.
Young Casario is listed as a high-end three-star prospect on 247Sports, with a recruiting rating of 88 in their system. He ranks as the No. 62 defensive lineman and No. 528 overall prospect in the class, according to 247Sports' composite rankings system.
Michigan State is one of nearly 20 schools to show interest in Young Casario with an offer. He also holds notable offers from Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Boston College, Miami (FL), Penn State, Maryland, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.
At this time, Michigan State is the only school known to have a locked in official visit from Young Casario. That is a good sign for the Spartans as they look to add a big-time defensive lineman prospect from out of their traditional recruiting footprint.
