On Tuesday, a very unsurprising move occurred for Michigan State football when defensive back and special teams contributor George Mullins entered the transfer portal.
Mullins was recruited by defensive backs coach Blue Adams at Oregon State before Adams made the move to MSU and largely played on special teams this past season. With Blue Adams on the move to Florida State, and the special teams unit now being led by former Iowa assistant LeVar Woods, it makes sense to see some movement there.
Mullins was a 3-star recruit in the 2025 class out of Bushnell, Florida. He was ranked as the No. 83-ranked cornerback in that class and 103-ranked player in the state of Florida in his class.
