A popular social media account considers Michigan State football one of the worst power four schools in the country.

College Football Report — which has a following of more 165,000 — has released their preseason power four schools rankings for the upcoming year of college football, and let's just say they aren't high on Michigan State. Among the 68 power four schools included in the rankings, Michigan State came in at No. 59. Among Big Ten teams, the Spartans were No. 17 out of 18 schools — only ahead of Purdue.

Michigan State comes into this season with low expectations from the national media, with a wins total over/under set at 4.5. The Spartans have been primarily projected to finish near the bottom of the Big Ten and typically ranked right by Purdue as the two worst teams in the league.
