MSU football re-offers elite, 4-star DL prospect from Chicago

The new Michigan State football coaching staff has re-offered an elite defensive lineman prospect in the 2027 class.

Brayden Parks of Chicago announced on Thursday that he's been re-offered by the new Michigan State football coaching staff. Parks was originally offered by the Spartans' previous coach staff in January of 2025, and on Thursday he posted on his social media X account that he's been offered by the new coaching staff.

Parks is a top 200 prospect in the 2027 class, with a 4-star rating on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 12 defensive lineman and No. 128 overall prospect in 247Sports' rankings for the class. He is also listed as the No. 8 player from Illinois.

Michigan State is one of more than 30 programs to extend an offer to Parks, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Miami (FL), Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse, USC, Vanderbilt, Washington, Wisconsin and Notre Dame.
