MSU football to reportedly host high-end 3-star OT from Ohio

A high-level offensive lineman from Ohio is set to visit Michigan State later this week.
Reed Gerken of Perrysburg, Ohio will reportedly visit Michigan State on Friday, according to recruiting insider Allen Trieu of 247Sports. Gerken will first visit Michigan State on Friday before visiting Tennessee on Saturday, Indiana on Sunday and Wisconsin next weekend.
Gerken is listed as a high-end three-star offensive tackle in 247Sports' rating system for the 2027 class. He is also ranked as the No. 38 offensive tackle and No. 13 player from Ohio in 247Sports' composite rankings for the class.
Michigan State has not yet extended an offer to Reed, but he does hold nearly 20 other offers at this time, according to 247Sports. He has been offered by the following notable schools: Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, NC State, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and USF.
