The FSU Seminoles are on a hot streak on the recruiting trail, landing three four-star prospects over three days, and they are looking to keep it going with one of their top targets set to make his commitment.

Four-star edge Jabarrius "Chicken" Garror is set to announce his commitment on Friday, and the Seminoles are one of four finalists for the Mobile, Alabama, product. They are competeting with the Auburn Tigers, Georgia Bulldogs, and Texas Longhorns for the 6-foot-2.5, 215-pounder.

He is ranked as the No. 110 overall player and No. 12 edge rusher in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 4 player from Alabama.

FSU was the first school to offer Garror a scholarship, extending him an offer back in January of 2024. Despite a previous commitment to the Alabama Crimson Tide, he has been a frequent visitor to Tallahassee ever since. He has visited seven times overall, including two times in 2026.

While he has visited FSU more than the other contenders, they have not hosted him on an official visit, and will not get to before he makes his commitment. He officially visited Texas last weekend, and it seems like they have taken the momentum of his recruitment.

Garror has been one of the most productive players in the country over the past two seasons at Vigor High School. In 29 games, he has totalled 210 tackles, 88.5 tackles for loss, 42.5 sacks, 55 quarterback hurries, seven deflections, and five forced fumbles. He was named a MaxPreps All-American after both seasons and will look to go for No. 3 as a senior.
