The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top schools for four-star safety recruit Semaj Stanford, who has set his commitment date for April 23. Stanford is a member of the class of 2027 and will decide among the Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks and Texas Longhorns.

Stanford plays high school football for Broken Arrow High School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Broken Arrow is located to the southeast of Tulsa. Stanford is the No. 4 recruit in Oklahoma, per 247Sports. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound safety is the No. 3 player at his position and the No. 58 recruit in the country.

Stanford is a versatile athlete that plays both ways for his high school. The elite recruit finished his junior season with 109 tackles and five interceptions. He contributed a pair of blocked kicks on special teams and returned one for a touchdown. The four-star added 743 yards on offense and finished the year with 14 total touchdowns (includes defensive and special teams touchdowns).

Stanford is also a track athlete. He posted an elite 10.6 second time in the 100-meters event.

Georgia is battling a pair of name, image and likeness powerhouses in Texas and Oregon to land Stanford's services. The top-60 recruit has scholarship offers from major college football programs like Alabama, Georgia, Maryland and BYU.
