Nebraska football extended an offer to class of 2028 three-star defensive lineman Thomas Minor on Tuesday. Minor made the announcement via social media.

Minor is the 48th overall player at the defensive line position, and the 14th overall player in his class from the state of Ohio, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. He is gaining traction from some big-time programs. Ohio State, Cincinnati, Michigan, Penn State, and Notre Dame have all offered him.

The defender measures in at six-foot-three, 275 pounds. He has only taken three visits to this point. The Buckeyes have managed to get all three.

Currently, Nebraska has no commitments in the 2028 class. The class is still early and forming. That said, the Huskers have managed to attract interest from several high-profile prospects. The class itself may not be as highly regarded as 2027, but there should still be a solid group.

Minor, and his subsequent offer will be worth watching. He is a rising prospect and his recruitment is beginning to heat up.
