Nebraska football picked up a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Timi Aliu. Aliu is the 20th overall offensive tackle in the 2027 class, and the 20th overall player in his class from the state of Georgia, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.

He had several major offers, including Florida, Georgia, and Illinois. He visited Nebraska five times during his recruitment and Auburn twice. Aliu was recruited to Nebraska by offensive line coach Geep Wade. The lineman measures in at six-foot-four, 295 pounds.

The 2027 class continues to feature several high-level players and this certainly adds to it. Aliu is the sixth blue-chip commitment in a 2027 class that has 11 commitments overall, per the Rivals Team Rankings.

This marks the program's third offense of line commitment in the past week. Wade has made it clear that he wants to revamp the entire offensive line and he's already paying dividends on the recruiting trail.

The class itself is shaping up nicely, and it will be interesting to see who else they add to the group in the coming days.
