Nebraska extended an offer to class of 2028 offensive lineman Jaxen Cepeda earlier in the week. He made the announcement on social media earlier on Wednesday.

Cepeda measures in at six-foot-four, 290 pounds. The Arkansas native has received offers from several big-time teams. Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Georgia, and Missouri are among the teams that have extended offers his way.

Cepeda has seen his stock rise over the past couple of seasons. He made the sophomore All-State Prep Red Zone team for Arkansas.

The Huskers have made several offers for 2028 over the last couple of weeks. They have a strong base for the 2027 class, and now they are beginning to turn their attention to the future.

If there’s one thing that the Huskers have done well in particular, it’s been having the ability to get offers and commitments early for future classes. It seems like they are doing that here.

Cepeda would be a strong get for Geep Wade’s offensive line, and it will be interesting to see how this recruitment develops.
