Nebraska players are receiving unique gifts as part of their postseason experience. A new Sports Business Journal article highlights some of the personalized gifts players received for playing in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Many bowl-organizing committees have turned the practice of gift giving into an art form by offering personalized items to players. According to SBJ, "the NCAA allows the committees to provide each participant with gifts totaling a combined maximum value of $550. Additional packages can be, and usually are, purchased by the school."

Players from Nebraska and Utah will receive custom sneakers and caps as part of their 'swag bag' experience.

"Participants will work with Majorwavez Lab to personalize Nike Air Jordan 1 sneakers with custom Las Vegas scenes, right down to choosing one of about 25 shoelace styles. They also will be able to design caps from Patched, using five models on which they will be able to put Las Vegas-themed patches of their choosing."

Nebraska will face Utah in the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl on Wednesday, Dec. 31. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT and can be seen on ESPN.
