Nebraska quarterback Anthony Colandrea excited for Big Ten play

Nebraska quarterback Anthony Colandrea is excited to begin conference play next weekend, when the Huskers take on the Michigan State Spartans. He spoke to the media after a 34-7 win over North Dakota and shared his expectations for Big Ten play.

The quarterback went 15-of-21 on the evening, throwing for 195 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed four times for 19 yards and a touchdown, leaping into the end zone.

The quarterback has had a great start to the season, throwing for 692 yards, eight touchdowns, and an interception. He is excited to get things rolling in-conference, as he told the media following the win.

“I don’t know, I thought that team tonight was really good and I thought the past two teams that we played have been really good. Big Ten play’s gonna be fun.”

This will be a test for the quarterback and the rest of the program, and will give the Huskers a proper measuring stick to see how they stand against the rest of the conference. The Spartans will undoubtedly provide a strong first test. That being said, it seems like the quarterback is ready to take on the challenge.
