USA TODAY Sports provided a new set of bowl game projections following another wild weekend of losses. However, for the second week in a row, Nebraska and No. 12 Kentucky remain paired up for the Music City Bowl.
Nebraska dropped its second-straight game after falling late to Oregon, 17-14. The Huskers now sit at 5-2 for the third straight year. With one more win, Nebraska will reach bowl eligibility for the third straight season.
The Huskers rest up on a bye week before entering their five-game stretch to close out the regular season. Nebraska takes on Washington, Illinois, and Rutgers before finishing the season with two top-25 matchups against Ohio State and Iowa.
The Wildcats stand at 6-1 following their 21-13 win at Oklahoma and are off to their best start since 2021. Kentucky faces Vanderbilt this Saturday before entering its bye week. The Wildcats then close out the season with three top-25 clashes and an in-state rivalry with Louisville.
