Nebraska class of 2027 wide receiver commit Antayvious Ellis announced that he is officially transferring to Millard South for his senior year. This was confirmed by On3’s Bryan Munson on Thursday.
Ellis will be joining fellow class of 2027 commit Trae Taylor, as Taylor announced earlier this week that he would be moving to Lincoln and commuting to Omaha for the 2026 high school football season. Now the quarterback and wide receiver will have one season together before officially becoming Cornhuskers.
Ellis will certainly bring playmaking ability to the Millard South offense. He had 65 catches for 800 yards and eight touchdowns last season for Crowley High School in Texas. He committed to Nebraska on November 3.
This is certainly a unique development, as it will allow fans to see the future of the Husker football at the high school level. If anything, it will prepare the players for both the environment and the expectations of playing in front of Nebraska fans.
Nebraska WR commit Tay Ellis informed me this morning he will be joining Trae Taylor at Millard South this fall for his senior year.
