IMG Academy (FL) five-star quarterback Jayden Wade may still have a few seasons of high school football left, but that didn't stop him from making his decision to commit Georgia last November.

That commitment hasn't stopped other programs from trying to flip Wade from the Bulldogs, including a recent national champion and one of Georgia's biggest foes on the gridiron.

According to a report from USA TODAY Florida Recruiting Reporter Nick Wilson, Auburn and Michigan have emerged as the two latest programs to try and pry Wade from Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs.

In the report, Wade notes that Michigan has pushed harder than Auburn so far. The Wolverines offered Wade his freshman season and have even visited he and his family in their California home.

Flipping a five-star quarterback away from an SEC program would not be something new for the Wolverines. Michigan made waves just two cycles ago when in-state five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood flipped his commitment from LSU to the Wolverines.

Wade is coming off of a standout sophomore season for the Ascenders leading them to a 9-0 record. He completed 61% of his passes for 1,383 yards and 20 touchdowns with only two interceptions. On the ground he added 243 yards and three touchdowns on 33 carries.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder is ranked as the No. 2 overall prospect and No. 1 quarterback for the 2028 cycle according to 247Sports.
