No. 2 Virginia Recruit Noah Glover Lists Final Six Schools for College Football

The 2025 college football season is officially over, meaning every team is now looking to improve its roster. For many programs, that means emphasizing high school recruiting.

Linebacker Noah Glover, out of Haymarket, Virginia, has emerged as one of the most sought-after recruits in the nation.

As a junior at Battlefield High School, he had solid numbers, racking up 73 tackles, five sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, two blocked punts and even two rushing touchdowns.

Along with his production, Glover is a four-star recruit in the 2027 cycle, the No. 11 linebacker, the No. 2 player in Virginia and the No. 211 player in the nation, according to Rivals Industry Rankings.

With more than 25 offers at the FBS level, the linebacker has begun to cut down his list of finalists.

On Tuesday, Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett revealed that Glover named the Georgia Bulldogs, Miami Hurricanes, Texas A&M Aggies, Oregon Ducks, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Virginia Tech Hokies as his top six schools.

However, not all six are currently on the same level. In fact, Fawcett wrote that the Bulldogs, Hurricanes and Aggies are ‘setting the pace in the 2027 linebacker’s recruitment.”

Of course, the Hokies do have an in-state advantage. However, they’ve gotten off to a slow start under new head coach James Franklin. Virginia Tech has landed just one commitment in the 2027 cycle so far.

With no official decision made, though, all six teams will continue to push for Glover. Many recruits make commitments the summer before their senior year, meaning a decision may not come for several months.
