It looked like the coaching change at Penn State would be help for Notre Dame football with multiple prospects, but as time has gone by, it’s looking like that might not be the case.

Kemon Spell, the nation’s top running back prospect and 5-star according to 247Sports out of Pennsylvania, once looked like he would end up playing in South Bend. However, on Saturday, the tide turned back to the Nittany Lions, as Brian Dohn made a crystal ball prediction for them to land the 5-foot, 9-inch and 205-pound star.

There are two other predictions for him to commit to Notre Dame, but both of them were made last October. Plenty has changed since then, and it looks like the Irish are fighting an uphill battle. This recruitment is looking like it’s going to come down to the wire, as Spell could be a program-changing type back for whoever he ends up signing with.
