Notre Dame didn’t move in USA TODAY Sports NCAA Re-Rank after Week 1

USA TODAY Sports released an updated version of its NCAA Re-Rank, which ranks schools 1 through 138 after Week 1 which saw Notre Dame defeating Wisconsin 41-13.

The Irish (1-0) stayed at the top spot with their second-half dominance against Wisconsin on Sunday in the Shamrock Series game at Lambeau Field. This comes as no surprise, especially after the Irish moved up to No. 4 in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

Ohio State, Oregon, Texas and Indiana round out the top-5 in the re-rank.

Notre Dame is set to face Rice on Saturday. The last time that the Irish took on the Owls was on Aug. 30 in the 2014 season, when Notre Dame came away with a 48-17 victory.

The Irish are 5-0 all-time against the Owls.
