The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have won a heated battle between multiple top schools for one of the best 2027 edge rushers in the country.
New Jersey’s Jackson Vaughn selected the Irish over LSU, Miami (FL), Auburn and South Carolina on Tuesday evening. Many believed that this would be the case, and the 6-foot, 3-inch and 225-pounder made it official with his announcement.
The 247Sports Composite has him ranked as the No. 244th overall recruit in the country, giving Notre Dame yet another one of the best pass rushers in the country. He now joins Aidan O’Neil, David Folorunsho and Richie Flanagan as commitments on the 2027 defensive line class for the Irish.
