There was a good amount of offseason movement for Notre Dame football within its coaching staff, and now that the dust has settled, every new coach has been confirmed by the university.
The good news is that we knew about the majority of these hires, the biggest ones being the return of safeties coach Jevaughn Codlin and the addition of defensive line coach Charlie Partridge. Aaron Henry running the defensive backs along with being co-defensive coordinator is another one as well, as it give the Irish a security blanket in case Chris Ash opts to leave the program and return to being a head coach.
As for the front office, there were more than a few changes in the GUG like Jourdan Blake has moved to director of recruiting advancement, and Tre Reader taking a bigger role as a defensive analyst assistant.
Head coach Marcus Freeman has once again put together a stellar staff, one that should help overcome any obstacles in Notre Dame’s way to returning to the College Football Playoff.
