Notre Dame football sets date for 2026 Blue-Gold Game

SOUTH BEND — Spring football games could soon go the way of amateurism, but Notre Dame football is sticking with the classic concept for at least one more offseason.
The 95th edition of the Blue-Gold Game is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday April 25. Peacock will stream the event at Notre Dame Stadium and tickets start at $10.
That’s the same date as Day 3 of this year’s NFL Draft in Pittsburgh. Notre Dame could have several players taken over the first two days of the draft, but the marathon wrap-up of the annual draft circus could prove distracting that afternoon.

College football’s offseason calendar has been a constant source of debate in recent years with the likes of former Alabama coach Nick Saban, now of ESPN, calling for an NFL-style model that pushes spring workouts back to May and June.
