Like Notre Dame tight end Eli Raridon, wide receiver Malachi Fields will also have another chance to don the Blue and Gold before trying to make a career in the NFL.

The transfer receiver had a solid season with the Irish, catching 36 passes for 630-yards and 5 touchdowns. The numbers weren’t what many expected, but it’s hard to say those were bad numbers when running backs Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price were the focal point of the offense.

Fields still has plenty of talent, and on Monday afternoon, the Senior Bowl announced that he has accepted an offer to play in one of the top pre-draft bowls. This week is Mobile, Alabama should be viewed as a huge opportunity for Fields, as many players have seen their draft stocks rise during that time.

He’ll get a chance to meet with multiple organizations along with working out in front of them, with the hopes of pushing himself up draft boards. While Notre Dame only had Fields on campus for one season, we’ll be rooting for him at the next level, and it starts with his time in Mobile.
