Ohio State continues pursuit of a priority OL in 2028 class, visit set for Nov. 14

Now single digit days away from game day, Ohio State is gearing up for one of the tougher schedules in recent memory, but the standard remains the same. Ready to see the 2026 Buckeyes in action, that feeling is only getting more intense, with Jeremiah Smith quoted as saying Ohio State will have, “a whole different offense” under Arthur Smith.
Fire power on this roster and on the coaching staff, the wait will soon be over and the Buckeyes will be back on the field each Saturday. Plenty more to be excited for, you can include recruiting as well, with several top players flocking to campus in the coming months.
Never a down time for this coaching staff and program, Ohio State football is wasting no time at getting many of their top targets on campus for game day visits.
Priority OL makes plans to see Ohio State
Looking at Ohio State’s 2027 class along the offensive line, Tyler Bowen has done a really solid job at landing not only talent, but quality depth as well. A haul that shows Bowen can recruit with the best of them for his position group, the goal for 2028 will be nothing but the same.
Fortunately, the Buckeyes are in good position with multiple top targets already, and that includes John Paul Carrico. A 6-f00t-8, 295 pound Kentucky native, Carrico’s name has been closely linked with the Buckeyes for long enough to consider Ohio State a strong favorite in this recruitment, and his recent comments and future plans further that notion.
Making it known he believes Ohio State is a good fit, Carrico is putting his words to action with his fall visit plans. Set to be on campus now on Nov. 14 for the Northwestern game, this trek to Columbus will only continue the two parties strong interest.
Bowen keeping in regular communication, the mutual interest won’t decrease any time soon. The No. 189 player nationally and the 22nd best offensive tackle in the class per the 247Sports Composite, keep an eye on this one for the long haul.

With already double-digit linebackers holding offers from Ohio State in the 2028 class, the Buckeyes have wasted no time in looking at who can be the next in line to continue the track record of success under James Laurinaitis. Plenty of work to still be done, the fall is a great time for recruiting opportunities, and California native Landon Miller is showing an interest in getting to Columbus.
No date set yet, Miller looks to be keeping a late season visit in mind to see the Buckeyes while plenty of other schools are already locked in. A 6-foot-2, 210 pound athlete of out De La Salle, Miller is the No. 171 player nationally and 11th best linebacker in the class per the 247Sports Composite.
