Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore's tenure is over, and Ohio State football fans are letting him hear it on social media.
According to a statement from the university, "credible evidence was found that Coach Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. This conduct constitutes a clear violation of University policy."
Moore succeeded Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh following the Wolverines' national championship in 2023. He went 16-8 as head coach, going 7-3 in 2025 due to suspensions for games against Central Michigan and Nebraska.
Bill Poggi was named Michigan's interim head coach, effective immediately, according to the statement.
