The guts and glory of the Ohio State 2024 football season is coming soon to a TV screen near you.
The championship-winning team is the focus of “Redemption,” a documentary series exploring faith, identity and perseverance within the team.
The three-episode docuseries will premiere Nov. 16 on the Wonder Project, a subscription-based streaming service available as an add-on through Amazon Prime Video.
“Redemption” captures the 2024 season on and off the field through the eyes of Ohio State players such as TreVeyon Henderson, Emeka Egbuka, Will Howard and Gee Scott Jr.
Viewers can revisit highlights leading up to the Buckeyes’ first College Football Playoff title in 10 years and go behind the scenes as players face the challenges that have shaped who they are.
The docuseries includes commentary from former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, 2007 Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow and former Ohio State and NFL player Braxton Miller.
“Redemption” was made possible in part by the Columbus Motion Picture Incentive offered by Film Columbus to promote the growth of the film industry in central Ohio by urging filmmakers to utilize regional resources.
The incentive offers a 10% cash rebate for qualifying projects that spend $150,000 or more within Franklin County; hire at least 75% of their crew from Franklin and adjacent counties; and film 75% of the project locally.
