The second edition of the College Football Playoff rankings was announced on Tuesday, and to nobody's surprise, Ohio State retained the top spot. The Buckeyes have been ranked No. 1 in all the polls in the Milky Way galaxy since the win over Texas, and were No. 1 in the first edition of the CFP rankings last week. After dominating Purdue, OSU has done nothing to relinquish that spot.
Things were unknown from there, with a top ten matchup of Texas Tech and BYU going the Red Raiders' way. There were other shakeups in the rankings and within the coveted top ten. Behind Ohio State, rounding out that top ten were Indiana (2), Texas A&M (3), Alabama (4), Georgia (5), Texas Tech (6), Ole Miss (7), Oregon (8), Notre Dame (9), and Texas (10).
Two other teams landed in the top 25, with Michigan checking in at No. 17 and Iowa dropping just one spot after the close loss to Oregon, coming in at No. 21.
Here's a look at the rest of the College Football Playoff top 25 rankings.
