The Oklahoma Sooners look to close out the 2026 recruiting cycle strong during the early signing period. Heading into Wednesday, the Sooners had 24 players pledged. Barring any last-minute changes of heart, the Sooners are heading toward another top 15 class in the Brent Venables era.

Much of the work has already been done, but we’ve seen this coaching staff make some last-minute splashes in the past, as they did with Peyton Bowen in the 2023 early signing period.

Over the last few weeks, Oklahoma’s been productive, riding the wave of success they’ve found on the field to help bolster their recruiting class. The Sooners were able to flip four-star prospects Jonathan Hatton and Jayden Petit to give Venables and his staff a lot of momentum on the trail.
