The Oklahoma Sooners added another commitment to their top-ranked 2027 recruiting class, earning a pledge from offensive lineman Isaac Coughran. Coughran, a three-star prospect out of Katy, Texas, chose the Sooners over offers from Arizona, Baylor, Houston, and Rutgers.

An interior offensive line prospect, Coughran ranks as the No. 30 player at his position and the No. 62 player in the state of Texas, according to 247Sports. Coughran also had offers from Oregon State, Washington State, Navy, Air Force, Army, Tulane, Texas State, and Tulsa.

Currently listed at 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds, Coughran has good size and strength for the position. He moves well, displaying the ability to pull across the formation and meet defenders with force and strength. He's a powerful player at the point of attack and shows the necessary tenacity and physicality to be a force on the inside.

Coughran is the fifth offensive lineman to join a recruiting class that includes Cooper Hackett, Kaeden Penny, Luke Wilson, and Tyson Ross.
