The Oklahoma Sooners are going to get an opportunity to play in front of one of their top targets twice this season. Kellen Hall, the No. 1 defensive lineman and a top-five player in the 2028 recruiting class, announced his unofficial visit plans for this fall, and he'll see the Sooners in back-to-back weeks.
According to Hayes Fawcett of On3, Hall plans to be in Norman on September 19 when the Sooners take on New Mexico. Then he'll be in Athens on Sept. 26 when the Georgia Bulldogs host the Oklahoma Sooners for a pivotal SEC matchup. The five-star defensive tackle is expected to make 10 game-day visits this fall to premier programs across the country.
Hall holds 23 Power Four offers and will take trips to see Oregon, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Georgia, Texas A&M, Michigan, Texas, Notre Dame, and Tennessee this fall.
Steve Wiltfong, Rivals vice president of recruiting and transfer portal, predicted Oklahoma to land Hall back in March. There's a long way to go in the recruiting battle for the No. 2 player in the 2028 cycle, but the Oklahoma Sooners are in a great spot in Hall's recruitment.
Hall's a great athlete with a fantastic first step. He displays good power on his rushes, and his length gives opposing offensive tackles fits. He has the size and frame to play defensive end in three- and four-man fronts. His strength and quickness would allow him to be an impact player at defensive tackle as well. Hall also played right tackle in high school and shows strong awareness in his pass-protection responsibilities.
