Though the transfer portal and the College Football Playoff have taken center stage, the Oklahoma Sooners are still looking to add to their top-ranked recruiting class in the 2027 cycle. They're now the favorites to land 2027 defensive tackle Deven Robertson, according to a pair of predictions from Rivals.

Chad Simmons and Sam Spiegelman both issued a prediction favoring the Sooners in Robertson's recruitment on Monday morning. This comes ahead of his scheduled commitment date at the Navy All-American Bowl on January 10..

He has a number of big-time offers, and it's easy to see why. The 6-foot-1, 320-pound defensive tackle is going to be a force at the collegiate level. He moves incredibly well for a player his size. He's got the quickness and athleticism to be a force in a scheme that allows defensive tackles to attack gaps and get upfield. He has the ability to play both defensive tackle spots for the Sooners.

If he were to commit to OU, he'd pair incredibly well with current Sooners commit Elija Harmon to create an incredible tandem on the inside for Oklahoma's defensive line.
