Oklahoma State football adds DE Jayden Vessell to 2027 recruiting class

Oklahoma State football has its first edge rusher in the 2027 recruiting class.

Defensive end Jayden Vessell committed to the Cowboys on Wednesday, he announced on his X page.

A 6-foot-2, 230-pound incoming senior at Baton Rouge (Louisiana) Catholic High School, Vessell is unranked on 247Sports.com but chose the Cowboys over offers from Air Force, Army, Liberty and Louisiana Tech.

Vessell attended OSU’s spring game, where he earned the scholarship offer.

He’s the Cowboys’ 11th commitment in the class and fourth defensive player.
